Prof. (Dr.) Indranath Sinha

Prof. (Dr.) Indranath Sinha is a distinguished academician with over 35 years of teaching, research, and institutional leadership experience.
A graduate of Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, he pursued advanced studies at IIT Kharagpur and École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris. He served nearly two decades at ISM Dhanbad in various professorial roles and later joined Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur as its first full-time Registrar before returning to academic service as Professor of Mining Engineering.
He has worked as a consultant to Coal India Limited on a World Bank-assisted environmental capacity-building project. His monograph on “A Framework of EIA for Environmental Sustainability” received wide academic recognition, and he has co-authored a book on “Mine and Mineral Economics.”
He has held three terms as Chairman of the Mining Engineering Division, Institution of Engineers (India), West Bengal State Centre, and continues to contribute at policy and academic levels.

Mrs. Damayanti Sinha
Senior Academic Mentor & Principal
Mrs. Damayanti Sinha is a distinguished educator with over three decades of teaching experience in English Literature and Language. She holds a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in English from Jadavpur University, along with a B.Ed., grounding her academic journey in strong literary and pedagogical foundations.
She began her teaching career in 1991 as a Postgraduate Teacher and has since contributed extensively to academic excellence across ICSE institutions. After gaining experience in Dhanbad and later returning to West Bengal, she resumed her academic journey in 2008 at an ICSE school, continuing to mentor senior secondary students with dedication and discipline.
For over fifteen years, she has served as a regular ICSE/ISC examiner, reflecting her deep engagement with board-level academic standards and evaluation systems. Beyond classroom instruction, she leads initiatives that foster communication skills, literary appreciation, and holistic student development.
As Senior Academic Mentor and Principal at Bright Path Scholars, she strengthens academic rigor, structured pedagogy, and character-driven education.
Payel Golui Patra
Co-Founder
Payel Golui Patra brings discipline, empathy, and structured leadership to Bright Path Scholars.
With professional experience across publishing operations, customer relations, insurance advisory, wellness instruction, and entrepreneurship, she believes that education must combine clarity with care. Structure without empathy feels rigid - and empathy without discipline feels directionless. At BPS, she ensures both remain balanced.
She is a State level Yoga Champion, National level Yoga participate, and a certified Yoga Instructor from Yoga Bharati Foundation bangalore, and strongly believes that physical discipline and mental stability play a crucial role in a child's academic growth.
As an entrepreneur and founder of KrishnaVeda and RasoiTreats, she values trust, consistency, and long-term commitment - principles that shape the culture of Bright Path Scholars.
Her leadership helps maintain a student-friendly environment where discipline is firm, but guidance is compassionate.
Sangita Kundu

An educated and passionate homemaker with a strong commitment to academic excellence, she has embarked on the journey of establishing a coaching center to nurture young minds and build strong educational foundations.
With more than five years of dedicated teaching experience at Andal Girl's High School, she witnessed firsthand how the right guidance can transform a child’s future. Her classroom was not just a space for lessons, but a place where students felt heard, encouraged, and inspired to grow beyond their limitations.
As a mother and an educator, she understood the concerns of parents and the unique learning needs of every child. This understanding became the foundation of Bright Path Scholars - a place built on patience, personal attention, and genuine care.
What started as a small step is, in truth, the first milestone of a much larger vision.
